Create Sketch

Sketches live inside projects. First select (or create) a project, then create a sketch within that project to start drawing.

Before You Start

Every sketch must belong to a project. If you don’t have a project yet, create one first from the Projects screen.

1. Select or Create a Project

  • Go to the Projects screen.
  • Either click an existing project, or use + Create New Project to add one (see Create Project).
  • Clicking a project takes you to that project’s Sketches view.

2. Sketches View

Once a project is selected, you’ll see the list of sketches for that project. From here you can create new sketches or search/open existing ones.

Creating a New Sketch

Use + create new sketch to start a fresh sketch inside the currently selected project.

  1. 1. Open the project’s Sketches screen.
    From the Projects screen, click the project you want to work on. You’ll land on that project’s Sketches view.
  2. 2. Click “+ create new sketch”.
    At the top of the sketches list, click the first item: + create new sketch.
  3. 3. Allow pop-ups if needed.
    A new browser tab or window will open with your sketch. If your browser blocks pop-ups, you may need to allow pop-ups for ApProsal the first time.
  4. 4. Start drawing.
    The new tab/window will show a blank sketch canvas, ready to use. From here, all sketch tools and features are available.
