Invite Teammates

Teammates let you share access to projects without sharing your own login. As the account holder (admin), you can create user accounts, choose which projects they can see, and control how they log in.

Teammates Screen Overview

The Teammates screen is available to the account holder (admin) and is used to create and manage user accounts for your team.

Accessing Teammates

  • On the left sidebar, locate the Account section.
  • Click Account to expand it.
  • Click Teammates to open the teammates management screen.
  • Only the account holder (admin) will see the Teammates option.

What You Can Do Here

  • Add new teammate logins.
  • Set their username and password.
  • Select which projects each teammate can access.
  • View and edit the team login URL.

Adding a New Teammate

Use + add new user any time you want to give another person their own login and project access.

  1. 1. Open the Teammates screen.
    From the left sidebar, expand Account and click Teammates.
  2. 2. Click “+ add new user”.
    A sidebar on the right will slide in with the teammate details form.
  3. 3. Enter a username.
    Choose a username your teammate will use to log in (for example, j.smith).
  4. 4. Set a password.
    Enter a temporary or permanent password for the teammate. Share this securely with them.
  5. 5. Choose project access.
    Below the login fields you’ll see a grid listing each project in your account:
    • Each row represents a project.
    • Check the box next to each project the user should have access to.
    • Leave unchecked any projects they should not see.
  6. 6. Save the new teammate.
    When you’re done, click Save on the sidebar to create the user. They will now appear in the teammates list and can log in using the team login URL.

Tip

You can restrict teammates to just the projects they actively work on. This keeps their workspace focused and reduces the chance of editing the wrong project.

Team Login URL

Teammates do not log in through the standard owner/admin login. Instead, they use a dedicated team login URL that you control.

Viewing & Editing the Login URL

  1. On the Teammates screen, look at the top of the page.
  2. You’ll see the current login url displayed (your custom path).
  3. This URL can be edited/changed directly from this screen.
  4. After changing it, be sure to notify your teammates so they use the new link going forward.

Changing the login URL will not update your teammates automatically. Anyone who has bookmarked the old URL will need the new address.

How Teammates Sign In

Non account owners/admins always use the team login URL to access ApProsal:

https://approsal.com/TeamLogin/custom-url

  1. You share your unique team URL with your teammates.
  2. They navigate to https://approsal.com/TeamLogin/<your custom url>.
  3. They see a login screen where they enter their Username and Password.
  4. After logging in, they are taken directly to the projects and sketches they have been granted access to.
