Print & Print Preview

Print and Print Preview let you see how your sketch will look on paper and send it to a printer directly from the save screen.

Accessing Print & Preview

Both options are available at the top of the save screen immediately after saving a sketch.

  1. 1. Save your sketch.
    Click the Save icon in the upper left of the sketch window. The sketch is saved immediately.
  2. 2. Use Print or Print Preview.
    At the top of the save panel, choose:
    • Print Preview to see how the sketch will look when printed.
    • Print to send the sketch directly to your printer.

Using Print Preview

Print Preview helps you confirm page layout before actually printing.

Preview Layout

  • Opens a preview of the sketch formatted for printing.
  • Shows how the sketch fits on the page.
  • Helps verify orientation and content placement.

Browser Controls

The exact preview interface is controlled by your browser and operating system:

  • Adjust printer selection, pages, and copies via the browser dialog.
  • Change orientation (portrait/landscape) and margins there as well, if needed.

Printing the Sketch

Use Print when you are ready to send the sketch to a physical printer.

  1. 1. Click Print.
    On the save screen, click Print. Your browser’s print dialog will open.
  2. 2. Choose printer and settings.
    In the print dialog:
    • Select the printer you want to use.
    • Choose page range, copies, orientation, and other options as needed.
  3. 3. Confirm to print.
    Confirm in the dialog to send the job to the printer.

ApProsal controls the sketch layout; your browser and operating system control printer selection and final print behavior.
