Sketch History

Sketch History shows a log of changes made to a sketch over time, including who made each change. From here, you can open a historical state for editing or remove a specific log entry and its sketch.

Accessing Sketch History

Sketch History is accessed from the sketch’s gear menu in the right sidebar.

1. Open the Sketch

  • Go to the Projects screen and select the project containing the sketch.
  • From the project’s Sketches view, open the sketch you want to review.

2. Open the History Tab

  1. With the sketch open, click the gear icon on the sketch screen.
  2. A right sidebar will appear with multiple tabs.
  3. Click the History tab to view the change log for this sketch.

Understanding the History Grid

The History tab displays a grid of all logged changes for the selected sketch.

  • Each row represents a specific change made to the sketch.
  • The grid shows key details such as when the change was made and by which user.
  • You can act on each row individually using the available actions.

Editing or Deleting a History Entry

From the History grid, you can either open a historical state of the sketch for editing or delete a specific log entry and its associated sketch.

Edit from a History Entry

  1. Locate the history row you want to work from.
  2. Click the edit/pencil icon for that row.
  3. The sketch will be opened in the state recorded by that history entry, allowing you to continue editing from that point.

Delete a History Entry

  1. In the same History grid, find the entry you want to remove.
  2. Click the Delete button for that row.
  3. This deletes the selected history log entry and its associated sketch state.

Deleting a history entry is permanent. Make sure you no longer need that specific log entry or sketch state before confirming.
